Step 1 of 6
Collect ideas & inspiration
Browse our collections and bespoke gallery for shapes, textures and stones you love — or bring sketches, photos and ideas of your own. Anything is a starting point.

Book a design appointment
Our Founder and Creative Director, Rebecca Smith, or another designer will explore your ideas with you and start shaping the design — in Ditchling or by video call.

You'll receive a clear, no-obligation quote and a digital design so you can see your piece before it's made — with as many design iterations as it takes to get it right.
Step 4 of 6
Handmade by our goldsmiths
Your jewellery is meticulously handcrafted by our skilled team at our Ditchling workshop — metal worked and stones set by hand, start to finish.
Step 5 of 6
Boxed up, ready to collect or ship
Your finished piece receives its final polish and checks before being boxed up, ready for collection from Ditchling or shipping to your door.
Step 6 of 6
Wear for life — and beyond
Every bespoke piece is backed by our guarantee, with free re-polishes to keep it looking its best — jewellery made to be worn, loved and passed on.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does bespoke jewellery cost?
Bespoke commissions start from £500, ranging up to £10,000 or more depending on the materials, design complexity and making time involved. You'll receive a detailed, no-obligation quotation after your design consultation — and using gemstones or gold you already own can offset the cost.
How long does it take to create a bespoke jewellery piece?
The time can vary based on complexity, design intricacies, and materials used. Generally, it can take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months. We always recommend starting well in advance if the piece is for a special occasion.
Can I use my own gemstones or metals in the design?
Yes, absolutely! Incorporating your own materials, like gemstones from family heirlooms or gold from old jewellery, can add a personal touch to the piece — and reusing your own materials can reduce the cost.
I'm not sure what design I want. Can you help?
Absolutely! Our expert designers can guide you, taking inspiration from your stories, preferences, and any ideas you might have. It's a collaborative process. You can do this either online or in store — take a look at our book an appointment page.
What if I don't like the final piece?
We involve our clients in every step to ensure satisfaction. After the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) stage, adjustments can be made — we don't start making until you're happy with the design. Once crafted, we're committed to tweaking it until you love it.
Is it possible to remodel an old piece of jewellery?
Yes, it's a great way to give new life to an old piece. Share it with us, and we can explore remodelling it while retaining its sentimental value. Read more on our Jewellery Remodelling page.
How do I care for my bespoke jewellery?
While bespoke pieces are handmade with care, regular cleaning and periodic professional maintenance will keep them shining for years. Store them safely and avoid exposure to harsh chemicals. Explore our Jewellery Care page for more information.
Are all materials ethically sourced?
We pride ourselves on using ethically sourced materials. Sustainability and responsibility are core values in our crafting process.
