An engagement ring that symbolises a decade of memories

Josh knew that he wanted to propose to Hannah on the 10th anniversary of their meeting and he was looking for a personal engagement ring that would symbolise a decade of memories.

Despite living in London for the past six years, having grown up near Ditchling Josh knew he wanted to come to Pruden and Smith to create his dream ring through our Bespoke service.

When asked why he chose us, Josh explained, “I really wanted to go with something personal, and I had bought gifts from Pruden and Smith before and felt confident that as on previous visits I’d be given an attentive, personalised service to match exactly what I was looking for!”

A personalised approach

Reflecting on his experience, Josh shared, "The whole process, from my first meeting with Rebecca to picking up the ring, made me feel like I was in safe hands." Discussing various options like metal, stone, and design, Josh appreciated the personalised approach and thorough exploration to ensure the finished product was just right for Hannah.

He also found comfort in the free resizing service on offer as he was concerned about the sizing, which they took advantage of as the ring was initially a little too big.

A proposal in Kew Gardens

Josh popped the question to Hannah at their favourite spot in Kew Gardens on a beautiful 2023 summer’s day. When we asked Hannah how she felt when she received the ring, she shared, “I was firstly so happily surprised as I was not expecting Josh to propose and I was so touched that Josh had been able to design such a personalised ring which so much thought had gone into, especially the nods to my heritage with the paisley design.”

Josh had not just selected a ring; he had created a profound reflection of their shared journey together and we wish them the happiest of futures together.
