SOLD Roman Glass Necklace

Description

A contemporary roman glass necklace in silver. The glass is from Nimroz in Afghanistan around 2000 years old. This piece features three pieces of wonderfully coloured glass probably from the widest part of a blown vessel. It is a one off from a limited edition of six pieces of jewellery that we have made from a small find. It is set in silver with a rough textured finish to match the calcification of the glass. The glass has this feature from being buried for so long. The glass itself has a light green base colour with layers of blues, greens, yellows, and reds.
