Black Friday Week 2025 Is Here
Black Friday week is live Once a year, we step outside our usual rhythm, and that moment has arrived. Black Friday week is now live. It is the only time...
There are many reasons for redesigning your old jewellery. It may hold sentimental memories of loved ones or events. It’s ethical as no more stones or metals have to be mined. It saves you money.
It doesn’t matter what condition it is in. Stones can be re-polished, old metal can be melted down and milled into new sheet and wire.
The first part of the process is to have a free hours appointment with either Suzy or Rebecca our designers. They will talk to you about the meaning the jewellery has to you and what you would like to achieve by redesigning it. You jewellery is then checked in for testing. Again for no charge, an inventory of the type and value of the metal will be drawn up along with a list of usable gems. Sometimes we can also incorporate materials of no value other than that they are special to you.
We will then make you some sketches showing what can be made. If you like them a 50% deposit is paid and your design will be handmade in our Ditchling, Sussex workshops in 4 to 8 weeks. You can use any re-purposed metals to offset the labour costs.
There are many samples on our website and in our gallery that show hoe lots of miss matched jewellery can be made into one or a set of pieces that you can enjoy wearing again or gift to other members of your family.
