Committed to design excellence in precious metals, Pruden and Smith was founded in 1988 by Anton Pruden and Rebecca Smith.
We offer a comprehensive range of jewellery services. Notably, we are celebrated for our unique designs that are recognised worldwide. We also specialise in crafting bespoke pieces and remodelling old jewellery. Every piece of our jewellery is handmade by our expert team. They bring Rebecca's distinctive designs to life with exceptional quality, blending traditional goldsmithing techniques with modern technology.
Meet our Founders
Rebecca and Anton have combined their skills to create an iconic style that is recognised worldwide. They draw inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds them, incorporating elements of the earth and the ocean into their designs.

Rebecca Smith
Rebecca Smith trained as a fine artist at Farnham Art College and has been designing and making in precious metals and gemstones for the last 30 years.
There is a recognisable freedom of expression in her designs, which is reflected throughout our jewellery collections and in the bespoke designs for pieces commissioned by our customers.
Rebecca’s specialist redesign service offers you the opportunity to recreate your old jewellery into a new contemporary design – bringing a new lease of life to family heirlooms for years to come.

Anton Pruden
Anton Pruden is a silversmith and goldsmith whose roots trace back to his grandfather, Dunstan Pruden – known internationally for his work in silver silversmithing and goldsmithing. Most notably, Dustan was commissioned to create a gold chalice from the Metropolitan Cathedral in Liverpool in 1959.
Inspired by Dunstan, Anton went on to train as a silversmith in Gloucestershire – an area of England well known for its history of traditional craftsmanship, contemporary art and design.
He then founded Pruden and Smith with Rebecca, combining design and craftsmanship. Now semi-retired, he helps out where needed as we move into our next phase.
