Rebecca Smith designing bespoke jewellery in the uk

About Rebecca's luxury jewelry design inspiration

Rebecca Smith draws much of her inspiration from the natural world, be it the unprocessed, raw beauty of gemstones, the organic contours of the Sussex landscape, or the gradual, natural erosion witnessed along the chalky cliffs of the Seven Sisters on the Sussex shore.

As a world-renowned luxury jewelry designer, you can be sure to find designs unseen anywhere else, created by some of the top goldsmiths in the UK. Every piece is handmade in our workshop, never mass-manufactured.

“A bespoke and detailed ‘one-of-a-kind’ diamond ring that has been made especially for me, with family involved in the process, has been really special.” - Hannah, ★★★★★ Google Review

Bespoke jewelers with a unique touch

Over the course of 35 years, our journey began as accomplished silversmiths, crafting chalices and renowned silverware that gathered recognition throughout the UK. Evolving into goldsmiths, Rebecca Smith and Anton Pruden transitioned seamlessly into the world of jewelry, earning a notable reputation as bespoke jewelers in Sussex, just north of Brighton.

Today, Simon Alexander, our Head Goldsmith, stands as an indispensable member of the Pruden and Smith team, skillfully working with Rebecca, our Creative Director, to bring her artistic jewelry designs to life. This new collaboration not only enables us to create our unique handmade jewelry but also opens up extensive customisation possibilities, unmatched by any machine-made item.

Over the years, our unusual handmade jewelry has transcended borders with people visiting us from America to explore our gallery, discover our latest designs, or commission a bespoke ring, pendant or necklace in the Pruden and Smith style. Raw, natural, unique – we're bespoke jewelers with a unique and unusual touch.
