About Us

Pruden and Smith is a jewellery gallery and workshops based in Ditchling,

Sussex. Well known for their contemporary silverware they now also design

and make fine jewellery for sale in their own gallery and other selected

outlets.

About the Role

We’re looking for a weekend assistant to join us in the gallery, introducing our

genuinely handmade jewellery to our enthusiastic clientele. The role is

primarily one of customer interaction and the right person will thoroughly enjoy

discussing our designs with the customers and showing them round our

workshops.

The successful applicant will be hardworking and enthusiastic about being in

our small team, whilst able to focus on their own role. They will have good

communication skills and be able to interpret customer needs efficiently and

refer to other members of the team effectively where necessary.

Full training will be provided though some experience with jewellery would be

preferred. In the long term, further hours / days may be available.

 

Location: Ditchling, (8 miles North of Brighton on the London to Brighton

line), East Sussex.

Salary: Competitive / depending on experience.

Hours: 16 hours per week.

Start date: end of June
