Designed for knuckles swollen by injury or arthritis, this hinged wedding band is a 3mm ring in 14ct (listed as 9ct) or 18ct yellow gold, built around the American-made Cliq fit hinge.
The hinge is the best mechanism we have found for swollen or arthritic knuckles, solving the old problem of needing a large ring size and then having the ring swing around the finger. It opens with a stylus the size of a ballpoint pen nib, sits secure once fastened, and is guaranteed for five years; we finish each band by hand in Ditchling, Sussex, alongside the rest of our wedding rings.
Sizing is taken with a specially designed hinged sizer, because the measurement is needed below the knuckle; if you are unable to visit for a fitting, the sizer can be posted to you.
