Pruden and Smith Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out what we consider acceptable use of www.prudenandsmith.com and the services connected to it — including our contact forms, live chat, customer accounts, wishlists and product reviews. It exists to protect our customers, our business and our small team. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

The short version
Use our website honestly and lawfully, treat our team with respect, and don’t do anything that interferes with the site or harms anyone else. That’s really it — the rest of this page spells out the detail.
You must not
Break the law. Don’t use our website or services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, including placing orders with stolen payment details, making fraudulent chargeback or guarantee claims, or attempting to purchase goods with the intention of avoiding payment.
Interfere with the website. Don’t attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, customer accounts or systems; introduce viruses or malicious code; probe or test our security; or do anything designed to disrupt the site’s operation, such as denial-of-service attacks.
Scrape or harvest. Don’t use automated tools to extract our content, prices or imagery at scale, and don’t collect information about other customers or users without their consent.
Misuse our forms and chat. Our contact forms, appointment bookings, live chat and email addresses are for genuine enquiries. Don’t use them to send spam, advertising, or abusive, threatening or harassing messages to our team.
Post unacceptable content. Anything you submit to our website — reviews, comments, photos — must be your own genuine experience and must not be defamatory, obscene, hateful, misleading, or infringe anyone else’s rights (including copyright). Fake reviews, whether positive or negative, are never acceptable.
Impersonate us. Don’t pass yourself off as Pruden and Smith, claim a business relationship with us that doesn’t exist, or use our name, branding or imagery to mislead anyone.
What happens if this policy is breached
Depending on how serious the breach is, we may: remove content you’ve submitted; cancel orders and refuse future ones; suspend or close your customer account; block your access to the website; and, where the law requires or where we consider it appropriate — for example in cases of fraud or threats — report the matter to the relevant authorities.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time by publishing the revised version on this page. The latest version always applies.
