At the centre of the sapphire trefoil engagement ring sits an oval Ceylon sapphire of approximately 0.8ct, measuring 6.5x4.5mm, claw set in 18ct yellow gold or platinum with vivid colour, top lustre and cut, and eye-clean clarity.
Diamond trefoil accents carry a total weight of 0.3ct across six 2mm natural unincluded white diamonds, lending the ring its dainty, vintage character. The original was made in our Ditchling workshop from the materials of a beloved older piece — the sapphire re-polished and the mount remade, a process that can leave a ring slightly thicker than the original and all the stronger for it. It sits among the most sentimental of our engagement rings.
