Choosing Cufflinks
Prices start at around £80 for hammered silver cufflinks and rise to £5,200 for engraved solid-gold designs, with most silver pairs around £120. Choose from round, square and trillion concave styles, Nugget and Seaweed textures, and chain or clip fittings — and many can be hand-engraved with initials.
Engraved cufflinks make a meaningful gift for a wedding, a milestone birthday or a father of the bride or groom. Because everything is handmade, we can engrave initials or a date, work in two metals, or design a bespoke pair. Gold pieces carry a 10-year guarantee and silver a 2-year guarantee, with free re-polishing for life.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the different cufflink fittings?
The most common are the swivel-bar (or 'bullet') back, which flips to lock through the cuff, and the chain link, where two faces are joined by a small chain for a more traditional look. We also make clip styles. The choice is mostly about look and ease of use — we're happy to advise.
Can you engrave cufflinks with initials?
Yes. Many of our cufflinks can be hand-engraved with initials, a monogram or a short date, which makes them a popular personalised gift for weddings and milestone birthdays. Just let us know what you'd like engraved.
What metals do you make cufflinks in?
Our cufflinks are made in solid sterling silver and 9ct and 18ct gold, including two-tone silver-and-gold designs — never plated. Silver is the most affordable, while solid gold makes a special heirloom-quality gift.
Can you make bespoke cufflinks?
Absolutely. We can design bespoke cufflinks around a theme, set a small stone, or work in a family crest or initials, all handmade at our Sussex workshop. Gold pieces carry a 10-year guarantee and silver 2 years, with free re-polishing for life.
