A tanzanite cabochon — cut with a flat back and smooth, domed surface rather than faceted — sits within this pendant, the ancient cutting style bringing out the stone's natural, pebble-like character.
It's framed in sterling silver or 9ct gold, and measures 10mm by 8mm (12mm by 10mm including the setting), a size that works well for both daytime and evening wear.
