Reticulation gives the women's textured court wedding band its one-of-a-kind surface, a rippled texture on a comfortable court profile in widths from 2mm to 4mm.
We create the texture by hand in our Ditchling workshop in Sussex: the metal is laid on cold steel and heated with a flame, so the steel keeps the inner surface cold and holds the sheet's shape while the flame melts the outer surface. As that melted surface cools it shrinks, leaving a pattern that echoes the naturally occurring texture of the earth's cooling crust — which means no two of these wedding rings are ever quite alike. Choose from a range of coloured golds and platinum, and use the Customise feature to request other sizes.
