What is a bespoke ring?
A bespoke ring is individually designed and handmade to your brief, rather than chosen from stock. Also called a custom or design-your-own ring, you shape the style, metal, gemstones and fit with a designer — from a sculptural dress ring to a hand-engraved signet or a diamond eternity ring.
Each one is made in our Ditchling workshop by goldsmiths with over a century of heritage — meaningful, elegant and made to last a lifetime.

Bespoke rings start from £800, with the final price depending on the materials, gemstones and complexity of the design — from minimalist bands to intricate settings. You’ll get a clear, no-obligation quote at your consultation in Ditchling or online.
Reusing your own gold or stones can offset the cost — just ask.

How much does a bespoke ring cost?
A bespoke ring starts from £800, with the final price depending on your design, metal and any diamonds or gemstones. You’ll get a clear, no-obligation quote at your consultation, and you can spread the cost with Klarna if you prefer.
How long does it take?
Each bespoke ring is handcrafted in our Sussex workshop, typically taking 4 to 6 weeks from design approval to completion. If you have a deadline, tell us — we’ll always try to accommodate it.
Can I use my own gemstones or gold?
Yes. We often set heirloom diamonds and gemstones, or melt down sentimental gold, into a new bespoke ring — keeping the meaning while creating something new. Reusing your own materials can also offset the cost.
What if I don’t love the final design?
You’re involved at every stage, from first sketches to CAD and final approval. Our “tweak it until you love it” approach means we keep refining until the design is exactly right — before any metal is cut.
I’m not sure what I want — can you help?
Absolutely. Our designers guide you through styles, metals and stones, whether you arrive with a clear vision or just a feeling. It’s a relaxed, collaborative process.
Can you remodel old jewellery into a bespoke ring?
Yes — it’s one of our specialities. We can reset stones and rework gold from existing pieces into a new bespoke ring through our remodelling service.
Are your materials ethically sourced?
We’re committed to responsible sourcing, using conflict-free diamonds, responsibly sourced gemstones and recycled metals wherever possible.
Can I visit your workshop near Brighton?
Yes — our Ditchling showroom and workshop are open by appointment, a short drive from Brighton and around an hour from London. Book a consultation to see our craftsmanship in person.
