If you're going to spend a deal of money on jewellery, there has to be more to it than just the metal and stones it's made from. It is not a disposable thing and it's probably going to be owned for life; there will be a lot of emotional attachment to it. On that basis I would never be happy with something off the high street.
Pruden & Smith have history behind them. There's a mini workforce above and below floors that handle the entire process of sourcing materials, processing, designing and crafting beautiful pieces. A brief tour of the workshop left me mesmerised. This is handmade quality and craftsmanship at it's best.
The ring is beautiful, but the process of how it was conceived and produced is where the real value lies.
