Choosing Labradorite Jewellery
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral celebrated for one thing above all: 'labradorescence', the flash of iridescent colour that moves across the stone as it catches the light. No two stones flash quite the same way, which makes every piece individual, and ours are hand-set as both smooth cabochons and rough-cut designs at the bench in Ditchling.
Prices start at around £120 for a pair of nugget dangly earrings and rise to around £2,400 for a gemstone silver cuff bangle, with necklaces and cuff rings in between, mostly between £399 and £850. Pieces are set in sterling silver and gold.
Labradorite is long associated with intuition and protection, which adds to its appeal as a gift. It's a slightly softer stone, so it's best treated with a little care, and because everything is handmade at our Sussex workshop we can set a particular stone or design something bespoke. Gold pieces carry a 10-year guarantee and silver a 2-year guarantee, with free re-polishing for life.
