This pair of Akoya pearl and diamond drop earrings sets a 7mm Akoya pearl beside a 2mm brilliant-cut diamond within a solid 9ct gold nugget, finished on gold hook wires with secure scroll fittings.
The Akoya pearl brings a smooth, round lustre that has made it a favourite for generations, while the diamond adds a small point of sparkle beside it, a pairing that reads as considered rather than flashy. Each nugget setting is shaped and finished by hand in our Ditchling workshop in the Sussex countryside, where every pair of earrings we make passes through the same small team of goldsmiths.
