Framed in hammered silver vermeil (gold-plated silver), these large ruby zoisite square stud earrings carry 12mm square ruby-zoisite gemstones fitted with a secure post and scroll. Ruby zoisite is a rare combination of ruby and zoisite crystals, blending earthy green hues with pink-to-red highlights, each stone heavily included with black hornblende minerals; sourced exclusively from Tanzania, it is one of the most colourful ornamental gemstones available and can vary tremendously in colour, pattern and hardness.
The hammered gold-plated silver framing complements the gemstone’s colours, and because the stone is natural, the patterns may vary from those pictured. Handmade in our Ditchling workshop in Sussex, they bring a painterly note to our earrings collection.
