Heat, not tooling, gives this men's textured flat wedding ring its subtly gripped surface, worked over a clean flat profile in widths from 4mm to 8mm.
The pattern forms through reticulation in our Ditchling workshop in Sussex, where the metal is laid on cold steel and heated until the outer surface melts; as it cools and shrinks it leaves a texture like the earth's cooling crust, so no two rings are quite alike. Made in a range of coloured golds and platinum, it is one of the more individual of our wedding rings.
