The people behind Pruden & Smith
Anton Pruden and Rebecca Smith founded Pruden & Smith in 1988 and became Freemen of the Goldsmiths’ Company in 2001. Anton has since retired, and Rebecca is now joined by her son Emil. She still designs the collections, runs the workshop and works one to one with customers on remodelling and bespoke. Emil grew up around the workshop, watching how much care went into every piece. After a start-up and an agency, he brought what he’d learnt there to help it last, so jewellery like this is still made by hand, by people who’ll talk you through it.
