At the centre of the sapphire trefoil dress ring sits an oval Ceylon sapphire of approximately 0.8ct, measuring 6.5x4.5mm, claw set in 18ct yellow gold or platinum with vivid colour, top lustre and cut, and eye-clean clarity.
Diamond trefoil accents carry a total weight of 0.3ct across six 2mm natural unincluded white diamonds, lending the ring its dainty, vintage character. The original was made in our Ditchling workshop from the materials of a beloved older piece — the sapphire re-polished and the mount remade, a process that can leave a ring slightly thicker than the original and all the stronger for it.

When will it arrive?
Made-to-order pieces are handmade for you and dispatched as soon as they are ready; the estimated date is shown above the add to cart button. In-stock pieces are dispatched within 2–3 working days, always by tracked delivery.
How do I find my ring size?
Buying as a surprise? Order without a size and we will size it together, or resize it free once you have given it. We can also post you a free ring sizer today, or measure you in the Ditchling workshop in 20 minutes.
Delivery, returns and taxes
Standard UK delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48, 3–5 working days) is £5.99. Express delivery is £10, or free on orders over £200 placed before 1pm, Monday to Friday. Orders are dispatched on weekdays only, and Click & Collect is available on every order.
International orders ship by tracked courier for a flat £30. Prices are shown without UK VAT, and any import duties or local taxes are calculated at checkout, so there are no surprises at customs.
We accept returns within 28 days on in-stock and made-to-order pieces in their original condition. Bespoke, customised and recycled pieces can’t be returned, but we will adjust them until you are completely happy. Sale items are final sale. Full delivery and returns details.
Guarantee, resizing and polishing
Our jewellery comes with up to a 20-year guarantee, from 1 year for chain to 20 years for platinum, covering repairs or replacement (not accidental damage). We polish your piece free for life, and resize a ring once for free within three months of delivery. Read our guarantee.
Can I see it in person first?
Yes. Book an appointment at our workshop and gallery in Ditchling, about an hour from London, or a video call with one of our designers. Book an appointment.
Caring for your jewellery
Keep your jewellery away from perfume, hairspray and chemicals such as those in pools or seawater, and store pieces separately so they don’t scratch. For a professional refresh, bring or send it to us for its free polish. Our full care guide.
