The chunky cushion cut bezel engagement ring frames a cushion-cut diamond in a smooth, continuous collar of gold, so the soft, rounded shape of the stone takes centre stage. Bold in presence yet quietly refined, there is nothing ornate here — just generous proportion and a sculptural edge that feels both contemporary and timeless.
Each ring is handmade in our Ditchling workshop in Sussex, with close attention paid to proportion, balance and wearability; the bezel does more than frame the diamond, protecting it with a secure, practical finish that stands up to everyday wear. For this design we look for a lab-grown cushion of around 2.57ct, D colour, VS1 clarity, with excellent polish and symmetry — and because elongated cushions come in such a range of shapes and ratios, our designers and gemmologists hand-select each stone to sit as close to this spec as possible.
