Our Men’s Wedding Bands Style Guide covers everything you need to know about choosing the perfect ring.
A good place to start if you are looking for a plain wedding band is to think about the cross-section, or ‘profile’, of the ring. The most classic style is the court wedding band, this has a curved outer surface as well as a curved inner surface for comfort. An alternative to the traditional court shape is what we call a low court wedding band, this has a slightly softer curve on the outside of the ring, this style is popular with people who aren’t used to wearing rings because it is quite subtle. A more modern wedding ring is a the flat wedding ring. Flat wedding rings can be flat on the inside as well as outside, but generally we make them with a curved inside known as a ‘comfort-fit’.

Hammered wedding bands are a popular choice with people looking to add a little extra detail to a simple band. Adding texture is also a great option for people who work with their hands a lot. Small dings and scratches are part of the normal life of a wedding ring and add to it’s character over the years, however people with very hands-on jobs may wish to choose a style that helps these marks less noticeable. We offer three hammering styles, peened, hammered, and rough hammered. All of these hammering styles can be applied to almost any plain band. We also offer a reticulated finish which has a heavier more organic looking texture, this texture is applied in a different way and can’t be applied to all ring shapes but we do have a large selection to choose from.

In addition to the standard ring profiles we also offer some more unusual styles including our twisted wedding rings, wonderful organic looking side-hammered bands, and our slash wedding band.

Why not add a bit of colour! Our wedding bands are handmade to order in a selection of metals including yellow gold, rose gold and platinum. For something a little more unique we can also combine metals for a two-tone or tri-colour effect.

Engraving is a classic way to personalise your wedding ring. We worked with talented hand-engravers who can engrave anything from lettering to a pattern, as well as monograms and family crests.
